So what
is this site about? Well mainly - me - and things that I find
interesting! I also have a blog
which I am jotting down an idea for a short story that I have
had for a long time! My day-to-day blog can be found on my Facebook page.
In terms
of me - I am 30'something, and literally live in a zoo. I have
6 dogs and 2 fish and at times I take in foster dogs as well.
I am the proud owner of the Online Store Raven
Moonlight, and go to school at Capella
University. I am also an active Pagan. I also am getting
ready to start teaching courses on Magickal Herbalism and offering
remote tarot reading services.
Feel free
to browse around and let me know if you have any suggestions
for improvements I can add to this site. You can either contact
me directly or look for me on yahoo messenger under darkraven_2255.
Some of
you may be wondering what does "Senior Paws" have
to do with me? Well originally this was a site about how to
care for a senior pet. Senior dogs and cats hold a special place
in my heart. Many of them are disposed of by their owners at
the local animal control facility simply because people do not
want to deal with possible health problems. Well, these little
guys deserve a good life - specially in their old age and they
are desperate for someone to love. I have tried to save them
when possible and so I decided to make this my site not just
about them, but about living with them - to show how much joy
and happiness a senior pet can give back to us!
Dogs
in URGENT Need!
Monday’s
Dogs is a weekly newsletter that showcases Catahoulas
that need help. They are all considered URGENT; some of
them will die THIS WEEK if nobody steps forward to help
them. Please, can you find room in your heart and your
home to help Catahoula Rescue save one of these dogs from
a sad, lonely death in a gas chamber or by lethal injection?
Next time
you consider adopting a pet - consider a senior pet - chances
are they are already potty trained, they are past the "chewing
phase" and most of them are just happy to sit by you and
watch a movie. They are not demanding - as long as they have
a cozy corner to sleep in, a roof over their head and food in
their bellies, they are happy. These little senior furkids have
so much to give - they are just waiting for a chance to show
you what a great companion they can be!
Ready to
adopt a senior dog but not sure how to start? Let us help! There
is no charge for our service - we just want to see dogs placed
with great families! Contact us today to find the perfect senior
companion!!
Thank you for
stopping by my site and I hope you enjoy it! If you have any feedback,
please let me know!
